I had an absolutely amazing weekend! The Queens of 2006 did and absolutely amazing job representing our state, so I have some huge shoes to fill!

The Speech...The Talent...The Dress...The Interview

The speech was the big deciding factor...I told myself, "If I can write a passionate speech then I am ready to compete."  It took me a few days but I had to prove to myself that I had something to say.  That is what being a mentor and role model is all about -- having something to share with those who look up to you.  I found my voice, so I named my speech "V.O.I.C.E. : The Valued, Outspoken, Intelligent, Children Everywhere". My voice was heard because I won the speech optional competition.

I am excited to say that I have been taking adult tap dancing lessons with my mom.  I wen out there and let my happy feet do the talking! I was 2nd runner-up for Talent.

The dress...it is absolutely beautiful!  It won best ballgown!

I don't even have the words to describe how absolutely unforgettable my weekend truly was!
