National Miss American Teen 2008

During the week of November 19-25, 2007 I attended the Miss American Coed National Pageant and had the most incredible and unforgettable time.  I competed in the areas of academic achievement, volunteer service, modeling, speech, and the National Queens' Competition.  I won the speech competition and was 1st runner-up for acedemic achievement.

To be completely honest, I was proud to the point of tears just to be standing on stage as part of the top 15...But when my name was called as the new 2008 Miss American Teen...I still have no words to describe exactly how I felt.

But, I do know that I am blessed to have had such an opportunity to meet so many intelligent and beautiful young ladies from across our great nations.  I am proud to call them my friends.
