My Plan...

I am already well on my way to becoming a fabulous woman in corporate aviation.  Withing two more years,  I will have graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Air Transportation Management.  I will use this degree to acquire an airport administration job and fund my flight training.  I also plan on continuing my college education by pursuing a Master's Degree in Aviation Management.  In six years, I will have obtained my instrument, mulit-engine, and commerical rating.  I plan to have a part-time job as a certified flight instructor so that I may build up my flight time.

I can not wait to start flying.  Can you image being able to take off during a cloudy day, burst through the clouds, and see the sun shining like you have never seen it shine before.  It is absolutely breathtaking.  When I fly, it seems as if all my problems are brought into perspective at once.  It feels like I am given an opportunity to step back and view the problems of the world in a different light.  I believe that if we can make an 836,000 pound commercial airliner fly we can overcome any obstacle.  I guess my point is that everything seems simpler when you are looking down on it instead of standing in the mist of it.

Keep your ears open, for one day you might just hear:  "This is Captain Harris Speaking and it is now safe to move about the cabin."
